Those look like Tamiya F104 chassis, pretty decent in the RC world.

Indeed, Stewart GP actually got a win whereas Jaguar didn’t.

It helped, but it was the death of Henri Toivonen in the Lancia that effectively was the final nail in the coffin for Group B and caused its banning at the end of the year.

Nah, I still respect people in our industry.

He’s a racer, he gets fired up and lets his emotions show.

He traction rolled, wasn’t an intentional crash.

Robby Gordon has been of-road racing for 25+ years, he knows a thing or two about driving on dirt.

The Gerber Shard is the other one. Has screw driver tips and a wire stripper, though why either of those are necessary is a mystery.

My opinion won’t go over well, but if the cars are too fast to race on the circuit, maybe they shouldn’t race on the circuit? It’s happened at race tracks all over the world for the last 100 years, why is this track any different?

Yeah, who puts a diamond on a race car?

I see the trolling in that comment.....

Slight tweak, team started as Stewart Grand Prix and were sponsored by Ford, then Ford bought the team and kept Stewart on board to run it under the Jaguar banner.

Did they? I’ve only seen the nose cone used in crash testing, never the full tub.

MasterCard Lola F1. Were planning to join F1 in 1998, MasterCard wanted them to start in 1997, so they joined a year early. Chassis nver saw a wind tunnel, barely had any on-track tests, failed to qualify for its only race at over 11 seconds off pace (outside of the 107% rule), and withdrew before the second round due

Ah I completely forgot about the Ape, famous for blowing up randomly. And yeah you’re right on Oklahoma, just looked up their 2013 car and it’s 332lb with an Ape.

I can’t even guess as to what team you were on, 330lb is too light for a 4-cylinder but 65hp is too high for a single.

I’m thinking a sub-50s run is definitely possible, if not faster.

I have a secret desire to see an FSAE car attempt the climb, some of them may put down a really respectable time.

Seems in the 5th edition of the series they still haven’t fixed the shiny issue.
