Agreed.

Last year I saw a bunch of these in the flesh at Honda R&D, such awesome cars, the couple engineers I talked to who had driven the car couldn't say much, but from the way they spoke it was clear it's a beast.

It's most likely a joke..... The grounds crew at Daytona are pretty awesome guys.

Wheel loader, not tractor.

Mega Truck, not a Monster Truck.

This comes to mind.

Indeed. That's the biggest thing I see in FSAE, having the engine so close to the rear wheels means the diffuser is either long and narrow, or short and very steep.

But what if there's an engine sitting low in the car and up front where that air would usually flow, as there will likely be in Nissan's design?

Q-Tip + The Chemical Brothers = Awesome.

The Patron cars, including Alexis DeJoria's Funny Car, always look great.

It won't be the same Cup anyways, it always changes when the sponsor changes. So the Sprint Cup will still be the Sprint Cup, it just won't be the Cup raced for in NASCAR after 2016.

The previous record was set over a quarter mile though.

If you list the Tesla as infinite miles/gallon, then you can't use eMPG or combined MPG because you're factoring in electrical energy for a few cars, then not at all in the Tesla. Is that the kind of math they teach in Journalism school these days?

Well, after watching this, a group of us Engineers really want to build one in our office. Our boss only half disagreed, so that's basically a yes.
