I didn’t plan on getting this handheld, but those controllers look terrible! Did they really have to do different color controllers? That looks horrible. I’d be impressed without the FPS Drops on the TV. Guess its back to playing 4k games on my PC, darn.
I can see it now. Resume posted: Took down substantial portion of internet for 6 hours. Get at me bro.
I don’t make typos when removing servers from a production environment.
Thats a shame it wasn’t worth more. People spend more on a gold plated iphone these days. I guess with all these anti antibiotics people running around mold just aint worth what it used to be.
Sounds like I should move my 401k from my old job to the regular 401k at my new job, keep contributing to the Roth 401k and send the employer match to that, and then open up my own Roth IRA.
I used to use it for streaming too. Then I realized the things I was watching was already on regular TV for free, Netflix, Hulu, or I could always just rent the movie. Most of the stuff I was watching on it wasn’t a free stream anyway.
630 note on a brand new jeep wrangler, and our car insurance is incredibly high here. One of the highest in the nation. 270 insurance for full covereage single drive. Im under 25, but it wont go down any time soon. Plus $60 in gas a month. Our roads are in poor shape too.
I do this thing where I only go back to the store when there isnt any food in the pantry. My “waste” cant be over 20%. I am pretty effective at shopping for myself though.
Lol whats a pension? That’s that shit my grandpa had right?
$1300/month is a lot for not including some bills. I am paying $825. Thats a $475 difference. $408/month for health insurance is insane, if you can get employer paid health insurance you would only need to pay for the kids assuming each adult worked and got that benefit. That is a saving of almost $700/month.
My new job offers a 100% match on 4% for a roth IRA or traditional 401k. I chose to do Roth, and I am happy I did. Pre taxing your retirement is much better then losing a chunk when you retire. Rates are only going up! Although, I have a bit of cash at my old jobs traditional 401k. Can I move that directly to the Roth…
I try to send out all my correspondence out in 15-30 mins in the morning. Then work 1.5 hours break, check email, work 1.5 hours, lunch, check email, work 1.5 hours, break, work 1.5 hours. Usually I try one of those 1.5 hour increments for hyper focused work with my door shut and music on.
The museums around here are like $30 an admission! Be cheaper to blow $20 bucks at the arcade :(
Now that I know this, I cannot go back to not knowing. Thanks for ruining my programming.
I know this is a 6 year old post, but you save a lot of money when your insurance is paid up and you burn your house down in off peak hours.
The last 2 times I felt over extended I took a new job with considerable pay bumps. This time is different. I am paying down debt with the excess. Hoping to pay my vehicle off 2-3 years early.
I spent around $1200 on my gear a little over a year ago and I have used it a grand total of twice. Hopefully the weather will be better this season. It’s been really hot and raining. Not ideal.
Killed prime, cut down amazon by 90%. I started making lists of things I want. If its still on the list by 45 days, I buy it. Just got a new mouse and headset for around $175 together, been on my list for 2 months. With all the other cuts its worth it.
I dont really mind phone interviews that can usually be done on a long lunch break at home, but that many in person? That’s insane. After 2 in person rounds I am done. I will do an additional phone, but anymore is kind of a waste of time. Last 2 jobs nailed on the first interview. Granted they were both like 2 hours…
