I think it is awesome (also weird, also very rare) to find people on far-left and far-right sites decrying this as awful, awful advice. Though both sides want to claim it’s evidence of the OTHER sides’ idiocy. That part is kind of amusing, I think.

And this is detrimental to everyone’s ability to help resolve bullying situations. Taken unrealistically far (“No one should ever make anyone feel less than perfectly happy with themselves.”), it suppresses the natural process of socialization, learning how to interact with others.
Thanks.That’s actually a useful distinction. Same as with differentiating between telling victims to “not be so sensitive” and helping children tell the difference between dangerous victimization/bullying and just feeling bad about how someone interacts with you.
