Oh give me a break.

This is the strangest comment section I’ve seen on this website. I’ve honestly never seen as many people jump to the defense of someone acting so incredibly guilty....I have no literal clue what is going on or why people are defending him.

My dad, on father’s day, dropped dead right in front of me and my kids. So yea....I have sympathy and empathy. I understand trauma. I understand medical bills. I understand therapy. I understand he might need an alternate way of getting through his trauma.

She did exactly what all the trolls do - they feel the need to tell EVERYONE their stance. Its exactly why the Karen’s at Michaels flip the fuck out - they just HAVE to let people know.

I remember in the 80's and 90's Madonna throwing her sexuality and her problems with the church in everyone’s faces (in a good way) and allllll the shit she got for it....and honestly still gets today. But it also inspired a lot of women to realize that you are not a slut or a bitch for being sexual.

This.

Oh ffs. Don’t try to turn what I said into some ted talk about “there is no definition of normal and rational”.

The dogwalker - IDK about this guy. Obviously what happened to him was traumatic and horrible. BUT.

A normal, rational person would not come home from a trip without the person they began the trip with without explanation.

Her cousin most likely had a nasty STD, lied about it and blamed the Covid shot to cover up cheating on whoever he was with, and now...here we are.

He was her boyfriend - she’s referring to him in “You Oughta Know”, but “Hands Clean” is about someone in a producer type position who manipulated and assaulted her when she was a teen.

I thought the same...she very clearly talks about it in that song.

I liked it! It was very “American Princess” type of thing.

I can’t even imagine what these people’s grandparents and great-grandparents must think of these bullshit takes and selfish actions.

In context though, having lived through it....this was actually a good thing that Disney was trying to do.

We just saw him do stand up in Boston and he talked about everything. He was in a full blown cocaine addiction. He talked about how hard he hid it from everyone until it got so bad he couldn’t, and how badly he felt about it ruining everyone’s life who cared about him.
It’s very easy for (unnecessary) articles like

We just saw him do stand up in Boston. He talked about his addiction, the intervention of his friends, how long the addiction had been going on, and how upset he was over what it did to the people he loved. (Of course all this was in a very John Mulaney way). It was an amazing show.

But...she’d wear that on the show, and then the next day, everyone was wearing a scarf, or searching for pants like that or looking for that shirt.....we would all take elements of what she wore and try our hardest to rock it. :)

I remember her talking about that too. That’s so sad....to think that we can look at her and think, “Damn look at those abs!!” yet....to attain that it caused her so much pain.

Totally agree!!!
I supposed looking back at Friends one might think it didn’t inspire much....but while the show was on? I literally scoured the earth looking for the clothes they wore. To this day I have a t-shirt that says “Save the drama for your mama” in red letters with a big mouth on it because I saw it on the
