Yes but it’s still in KS.  As someone who has also lived in “College towns” in the midwest (I’m from Indiana), you can’t deny that the red bleeds in.  They are not safe in the way that college towns are in liberal states.  I think there is nuance in how awful they are, but it doesn’t stop it from being an unsafe place

Came here to say this. I lived there for years. It’s an adorable little city and back in the day, K-State was a chill college where almost everyone wore jeans and tees. Very down to earth. A hotshot football team kind of ruined things for this old-timer, but Manhattan remains a good place to live with mostly liberal

Isn’t her real life pregnancy the reason for the wardrobe?

I’m willing to accept that an 85 year old might not know all the ins and outs of a Twitter controversy.

Second week in a row - major Succession spoilers in the headline. Can you please stop? Put them in the article for those who did not watch the second it aired?

Coming from an old fart in her forties, this shit is tedious. Yes, they all starve themselves. The are generally attractive people who have plastic surgeons, stylists, estheticians, trainers, and chefs. And they also starve themselves. It’s not healthy, but they are going to keep doing it and claim that they aren’t. La

thank you! i was looking for a comment the justification that her “old” look was when she was “unhealthy” like its a justification for how she is now.

I’m not invested in this at all, and agree that we should all mind our fucking business when it comes to other people’s health, but I do want to point out that what she said is EXACTLY what people with an ED say when someone voices concern about them.

What backlash? A few people on Twitter making snide comments isn’t “backlash” that needs to be explained with an obnoxiously sensational headline.

Every other one of those actors has a filmography more than twice the size of Simu’s.  It’s almost as if Kylie doesn’t know about IMDB.

“...when an entire industry just decides to crown a single person of color as their go-to token of representation for that community”

Now playing

In fairness, it appears PBS Newshour did just that.

The only one that should have “interviewed” her would be Jon Stewart. He will call them out on their bullshit.

1997-era Gwyneth seemed so royal and refined. Everyone loved the idea of a middle class hot dude from Boston and a Hollywood princess getting together. I swear they did not appear so dull at the time.

Also, if she wasn’t rich and famous, this dude wouldn’t even be bothering

From what I loosely understand, there are a number of things that work against the plaintiff: (1) it appears that he was the uphill skier (possibly the most important fact), (2) his testimony contradicts the ski instructor’s testimony (who is much more likely to be neutral), (3) he began by asking for an obscene

And now I get to take a bath for defending Gwyneth Paltrow.

When there are 2 rich assholes at play here, it’s funny how it’s just assumed that SHE is lying and at fault here (because she’s...famous?). For whatever reason, I believe her (usually, I find her to be ridiculous and borderline dangerous with her GOOP nonsense and she doesn’t ever see how privileged she comes off,

Nah f that... for as much of a smug asshole as she can be, you don’t sue somebody for colliding with them on the slopes unless they were doing something really f*ed up. Next thing ya know, people will be suing other people in a mosh pit cuz they got an ouchie at a concert.

Or maybe, just MAYBE, he actually is at fault here? There isn’t much to go on, and chat messages uncovered during discovery directly confirm that unlike their sworn testimony, Sanderson and the only eyewitness (who knows him) were ABSOLUTELY aware that Paltrow was the other party in the crash at the time it happened.
