This ius bungie though - they just shifted the grind to something else. Give it a few weeks and then it will be apparent. They’ll do anything to avoid making actual additional content.
It’s not even close to being arcade. It’s a bunch of cpus that sit around and wait to be demolished, and you have to wade through 25 of them before the computer starts ramping up the difficulty. If you die once you have to waste a bunch of time again. It’s a terrible mode.
Yeah, I was connected to the servers and couldn’t get a match when I tried, so I turned my game on to accept matches and played for 2 hours. Still never got in a match. Then, since I had exhasted all the single player content, I tried online again and still no luck.
This game is really really really bare bones. Feels like an early access title.
They asked activision if they could do microtransactions instead of content updates because their tools suck so bad that it’s very difficult for them to even add the historically overpriced abysmal DLC’s last year. Last gen Sony snuffed BC on the later models and then hackers found out that Sony’s ps2 classics were just ps2 game isos with an emulator wrapped around it. They were even able to dump their own ps2 isos into the wrapper and the vast majority of ps2 games ran fine. I’d be surprised if Sony doesn’t opt for the greedy…
