A star for the Chis deBurg reference - nice!
the 914 doesn’t deserve any more cache than the Fiero or X1/9
Great point, agree completely. I would add the Buick Reatta to that list as well.
A big fan of all the writers on Jalopnik past or present. Their work is always appreciated.
I will never forget David Tracey. But Jason beats him out when it comes to downright “weirdness”. I say that wit the utmost respect for both, as they are by far my Jalops! :)
As long as we have Torch, this will not be an issue.
87. Slightly modified
The bumper on the white count is clearly not the wing on the red, you goofnagles.
Is it wrong that pop-up headlights make me pitch a tent? I mean full on chubby pork knob.

Damn near all engine swapped Fiero’s are a HUGE blast to drive - regardless of the year (though the 88 had the best suspension, the earlier years can be upgraded substantially) Basically, the engine choices GM gave Pontiac were pretty lame, but if you look at the actual performance of the 2.8 V6, it was not at all bad…
It’s a VERY common myth about the Fiero - that, and the engine fires (less than most production cars)
Was it a myth? I grew up in the 80's and personally witnessed two burn down. (One was my sister’s and it melted into the shoulder of the freeway) There had to be some truth to it, right?
Shame they didn’t use an 88 Fiero as the base, those at least have Lotus suspension.
