Yeah you’re like entirely correct and I know it. The whole situation has just been confusing because he consistently would do stuff that made it seem like he actually cared about me but we’d also hang out and then not talk for a week or two yet he’d remember basically everything I’d ever said.

yeah, my dad retired at 59 and my parents were supposed to travel and then my mom was losing her mind with him at home all day so she ended her 22 year maternity/elder care leave and they never travel at all.

I do save some money but really a fairly minimal amount. I just can’t shake the conviction that I’m going to be dead or the world is going to have ended within the next ten years or so. Everything seems very meaningless.

This. It’s likely even if you have a man and woman that weigh the same and are the same height, given the same training the man is going to outperform the woman at most sports even in sports where size doesn’t give you an inherent advantage. 

Also often by the time kids get to high school or college they’ve effectively sorted themselves into their chosen sport by height and weight. Sheer size is less of an advantage in some sports than others. 

NCAA and elite athletes do have their hormone levels tested though and if it’s above a certain level they can be suspended or barred from competition on suspicion of doping.
