This is bound to happen
Death Proof is definitely the superior movie. Great Kurt Russell performance. Kickass car chase. Hot females. Underrated Tarantino. Planet Terror was forgettable fluff.

don't think this is a good idea anyway
I don't think Party Down would work as a full length feature though. 30 minutes keeps it sharp, and a movie would be weighed down by plot mechanics. Just give us 4 more episodes instead.

We should all listen to Prince because he's so relevant
Also I heard he plays a mean game of basketball.

you never thought you'd say that?

@Clueless Neophyte That's a really solid podcast. You can't really go wrong with any of the episodes but I particularly like the live ones. Definitely check out more episodes.

what hath phel wrought?!

They did that on the poster tho. But yes I'm glad that isn't the case on press releases, yet.

Mary McDonnell has also just been cast in this
Yes, Laura Roslin herself!

Alison Brie!
I just listened to the Nerdist podcast episode she was on. So witty and funny and charming! I'm in love. She never did much for me on Mad Men, but then Community came along.

Lilith Fair?
Is it 1998 already?

It's not entirely anime though Penguin. More like an anime/american cartoon hybrid, and incredibly interesting because of it.
Phenomenal show.

For the record, my story is true, though I regret posting it. Not trying to be an asshole. I liked reading your bit, Warren Oates.

Know what's funny? I met Christopher Moore a few weeks ago. He came by the specialty bookstore I work at to sign some copies of his latest. He was a really affable guy. Still haven't gotten around to reading him yet though.

Oh wow, your Simpsons story just reminded me of how I saw "Mother Simpson" about a week or two after my mother succumbed to cancer when I was 15. It was a rerun. I put the Simpsons on to help me forget the pain. Umm, yeah.

(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay
My complete lack of direction has been the overwhelming issue I've struggled with throughout my 20s. I cannot make steadfast decisions so I don't make any, and I leave before committing to something that seems like it could be going somewhere.
I decided a year and a half ago that I

Middling episode
I was hoping when Flexo showed up he would figure prominently in the episode as I love the previous two Flexo episodes, but alas. Anyway, the timing of this episode is crazy considering it must have been made months and months ago.

He gives Christians a bad name
and as an Atheist who has issues with being raised Catholic, this is something I can fully support. Keep on keepin on, you crazy fucker!

Oh I agree also. As an adaptation, ASD is by far the closest. My list reflects the quality of the movies themselves. Perhaps I should have titled the thread differently.

Trailer
Wow, that's a surprisingly effective trailer. I've seen the original, so I don't really have an interest in this one, but if I hadn't, I believe I would!
