I dig.
I dig.
I was in the same boat in college; I went to a community tech college to get my associates’ degree in automotive technology and spent many an evening just watching videos of...pretty much anything auto related. Off-road. Drifting. First-starts-in-xx-years. Burnouts. Exhaust vids. Semi truck maintenance, you name it. A…
That XJ. Is. Mint. Bud. How many miles are on it?
In the past few years, more and more women are coming forward and speaking out in regards to being sexually assaulted by men of status, through deceit, bribes, threats, etc. And for them to finally be able to do that, after years of not telling anyone, for fear of destroying their careers, relationships, and…
Sounds like it’s not the car for you. Ford would be more than happy to sell you a Mustang. I’d like to see an F-150 keep up with a Toyobaru in the twisties :)
I think it’s time for Japanese car makers to try out more retro-modern designs, now that all of the domestic manufacturers got that out of their systems. They all have some great designs from years gone by and it’s not a bad time to embrace that.
At first glance I wasn’t sure which end of the car I was looking at...
If I recall correctly, they were planning on releasing a V6 model...with AWD. That would’ve been lovely.
I love the picture you took of the family. That’s the thing about being an automotive enthusiast; it’s not just about the cars, it’s also about the people you meet :)
...would automakers potentially need to go as far as recall entire vehicles in some cases?
Yup, pour me a big tall glass of screw that.
This was my exact thought also. FCA is in the same boat. Putting all of your eggs in the truck/CUV/SUV basket seems a tad short-sighted to me, especially in these days of uncertainty.
This is true, I own two of the darn things myself. But it’s an SVX! And it has suede on the glove box lid...ON THE GLOVE BOX LID lol
‘96 SVX, down the street from our house. One owner, 135k miles, was condemned by the state for rust issues. instead of scrapping the car the owner invested almost $15k in having the car repaired and repainted. Currently for sale, I took it for a test drive and it feels younger than it’s years suggest. However the…
Aside from the pristine ‘96 SVX the folks down the street from us are selling, this is one of the bucket-list cars I’d like to own some day. The car that does it all, while sounding broken. Or underwater.
Had me at turbocharged LeBaron for the cost of a decent refrigerator. I think you should stick around!
Being a resident of southern VT in a town of less than two thousand people, being able to go to the NYIAS gives me the opportunity to see not only the latest sheet metal, but high end luxury and supercars that I will likely never see again in my lifetime. I use a vacation day so that I can go during the week when…

I owned a Sonic Yellow WRX wagon for a few years and received many compliments on it. Sadly, when it was time to sell it and get another car, no one really offered, or still offers yellow cars. I bugged a Subaru rep at this year’s Wicked Big Meet about this and he said they save yellow for limited edition…
This was my first thought also. When I did my course I was on a Suzuki TU250, which had a much more comfortable riding position and was easier to control. I’m 5'9 and weigh 160ish pounds and it felt very natural to sit on. I may have been told to take it down a notch once or twice because I was having so much fun…
