Judging by the lack of content on Lanesplitter and the fact that he still has a Kinja blog running, I doubt he quit.

I have an idea for a captivating and talented writer that has been inspiring others:
Will you tell them that their job is secure enough to buy a new truck with payments, then fire them and disappear them down the memory hole as soon as they take delivery?
Well, I’m out then. Bye everyone.
Well Sean was the only reason for me to read LS in the first place. Gawker has already dumped half the writers I like - I’ll probably be here for DeMuro and Torch, but that’s about it.
Well that blows. I thought Sean basically was lanesplitter at this point. It was nice seeing legitimate motorcycle content on here and, from what I’ve seen, that dirty hipster was the only one on staff capable of providing any.
Man, I gotta find a better place to hang out.
WTF I thought that Sean pretty much created Lanesplitter.
God damn. The talent pool is getting really shallow around here...
We miss Sean! Make Lanesplitter Great Again!

What’s the deal with 450X FTW?
No audio at work, but it would appear that I’m a “Commuter." The photos would be more accurate if they showed a work cubicle that looks like the apparel rack at the local moto dealership....
Yeah Sean, compare this to one of those bikes please (if you have experience on them).
Before reading your comment, I was going to post: Is it just me, or does it have some passing resemblance to a Honda?
2k cooler? Yes.
So, definitely two sides to this coin.
22k for a bike that’s supposed to be dropped, scratched and beat up on just seems crazy to me.
I just don’t want to shift with any buttons. Gimme a foot lever and you can throw whatever trickery you want into the gearbox.
