We did 10% down, 80% traditional 30-year mortgage and 10% as a separate loan of some sort that was processed with our mortgage. We pay PMI only on the 10% and its a 20-year loan with a higher interest rate. The nice thing is that when we have some extra, we can put it towards the higher-interest part. But we got our

Pregregnancy underwire bras are definitely not a good idea. They can lead to mastitis.

Actually the article suggests converting a sport bra to a hands free pumping bra. Though if you still have a bra that fits after your milk comes in, more power to you. I was a totally different size and found nursing bras well worth the expense. My bra size isn't such that I can go without good support or just pull

Our little ones have a pretty narrow TV tastes. I weirdly find the more recent epsiodes of Calliou and Curious George on Netflix and the back episodes on Hulu. The Thomas shows are all over the place. Netflix has some of the DVDs. Hulu has some Thomas content, but the new movies are sometimes not available on either.

I hear you. What's really disappointing about Target's clothes for women is that I often find decent workhorse clothes (khakis, dress pants, shirts) for my husband. But the womens khakis suck and look like hell after a half dozen washings.

I once saw a small child lick the spice shaker at red robin. The parents said nothing to the wait staff. Just put the cap on and put it with the other condiments. We were pretty grossed out. That party soon left and we told our waitress, who got rid of the shaker. But, ew.

And maybe agism is the point. Screening out the lower old score means only the young need apply.

I've found that enzyme cleaners designed for cat urine are a necessary part of the cat pee cleanup. Followed by white vinegar.

Unitarian Universalism. Our UU congregation has a lot of atheists.

I either knit or fold laundry.

I like to use olive oil to get labels off containers. Usually, the paper comes off with a good soak, but it leaves glue behind. Bit of olive oil and some elbow grease take the glue off. Goo-gone is also good for this, but sometimes its easier in the kitchen to just reach for olive oil.

I've been wondering if they can now say, "This fetus isn't viable, therefore we can remove life support." It's a crappy argument because it buys into the stupid law, but at this point, any argument that ends this tragedy is worth making.

I don't think there is a state in the union where your if/then statement wouldn't be valid. The problem is that currently even if you say "I don't want life support, even if I'm pregnant" several states override your wishes. Because, you know, women just can't be trusted to decide for themselves.

There are an average of 1.6 dog per US household.

Its probably happening in different demographics (and different individuals) for different reasons, but this came to mind: http://amzn.com/0520241134

Meh. I had my first at 39 and my second at 41. Six month trying for the first and the second was an oops. Both are healthy. I had uncomplicated pregnancies and uncomplicated vaginal births. We did do cvs at about 12 weeks to screen for chromosomal issues. Yeah, some have trouble conceiving after 35 but I think there's

I think it was FOCUS we took (married by an Episcipalian preist). It was pretty good and the convo we had just after taking the test was probably worth the trouble. What's freaky to me about this bill is needing more hours based on how many past marriages you have had.

yep. There are a couple different brands sold. The Lansinoh has no smell — not the least bit sheepy.

I like lanolin instead of Vaseline. http://amzn.com/B005MI648C It' only greasy for about 5 minutes until it sinks in but continues to provide a moisture barrier for hours, even through multiple hand-washings. It's also not oil-based, but it is an animal-based product. Eventually it starts to smell a little off or
