It kind of makes me long for my old Grand National in all it's whistling, gas-guzzling, sinister black glory.

Besides our grandparents, who cares?
GM openly dissed the brand at the beginning of the summer and destroyed any value it had left.
timtoolman, efficiency isn't MPG numbers, it's the amount of power produced for the unit of fuel burned. The HEMI in the new Ram is vastly more efficient than the old one as it produces more power for the same amount of fuel used.
No, it would exacerbate the problems facing both automakers, which are frankly the same.
All hail our new overlords and their reliable appliance cars and funny humanoid robots!
When this car was first revealed I posted a comment wondering how long it would take someone to make it look like something out of the Fast and the Furious. This post answers that question.
Malaise 2.0 if we start seeing four cylinders in big cars. Leave that fail where it belongs, back in the late 70s and 80s.
I can think of quite a few cars (some with six cylinder engines) that use just as much fuel in the city. This Tahoe's city MPG is very impressive but with the price and image of SUVs that achievment will be completely lost on the masses.
A Viper that doesn't look like a Viper isn't a Viper.
The problem is Ford (and GM) they have both sold Euro cars here before to disasterous results. It has never worked.
The Camaro is definitely one of the very best concept to production car translations in recent memory. Aside from the Dodge Challenger of course.
I am pretty sure the red car is actually the V6. It does not have the SS badging, Brembos or SS hood scoop on the fascia. If you watch the video posted from Camaro5 of the SS you can clearly here the LS3's song and see the visual differences.
So Ford is going to invest 3 billion into Mercury only to sell less cars than it did before at higher prices through a brand so dead that it will make even nice cars seem dead?
@BanditoGT: No, and it's not going to happen with this car.
"Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?"
COMMENCE THE CAMAROGASM
Opels.
It can't be that much thinner or taller than the current Mustang, which is basically what it is with some tweaking inside and out.
