Thank you Heather. She is literally the only reason I have not purchased the game. It really sucks that so many are okay with this and moreover that they will happily attack queer folk who cast even the least bit of criticism towards her.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if/when they remake RE3, they will intentionally add multiple Nemeses in order to up the ante, and will of course call it RE3: Nemeses.

Transgender woman here. I can confirm your suspicions are correct. What they did came across very problematic and bigoted to me and many other trans people I know for the exact reasons you state!

I never watched those particular runners anyway. Glad I never will on accident when watching GDQ.

As a trans gamer myself, thank you.

I will probably get shit for this (like the last time I posted about it) but fuck it.

Aaccomplishes nothing? So having fun is “nothing,” self-fulfillment is “nothing,” and participating in events like GDQ which raises millions for charity is “nothing”?

I’m probably in the minority here, and I certainly understand people’s critiques of this, but I’m personally rather okay with this. *Shrugs*

I loath mine. And I’ll tell you why (and most likely receive BS about it as I have in the past). When I created my PSN years back, I was in the closet. I was doing my best to deny a part of me and to blend in with “the guys.” So I created a masculine sounding name. It wasn’t necessarily a bad name. It wasn’t immature

I wonder if we will be limited to creating male characters. I suspect it will be to stick with the “bro”-theme that is FFXV. That’s well and good for many, so I hope they have fun with it. I’ll have to pass on that if that is the case though for my own personal reasons. In a narrative-oriented situation such as the

We do? And here I thought my wife and I were mere myths!

Well, if you insist. But at least leave me Luigi T.T.

Speaking of which, I wish Luigi was in this game. That’d make it perfect!

That’s ok. Dads can do that. Us moms are more than happy to hog Mario for ourselves. You go off to your little war fantasies.

Are we really counting the Xbox One X as a separate generation?

When faced with those who are threatening us with violence, yes. If someone threatens me with violence, they better follow through or else they will be on the wrong end of my fist, knife, or gun. Period. You do not get to threaten violence and claim it is free speech.

I feel that a lot of the people who say that we should allow these people a platform are the ones who fail to realize the innate power in language. They are the ones who often posit the old “sticks and stones” adage and fail to see how language is as dangerous as, and sometimes more so, actions. It is, in actuality, a

Yeah, that is obviously true. My electrologist lived in Moscow too I think—if I recall correctly. I don’t know. I just hate the idea of blaming an entire culture for things like this, but I do believe you that there are probably a lot like that—there are a lot like that in the southern United States where I grew up

I’ve only met a handful of Russians. All of them were perfectly accepting of me being trans and bi. In fact, my electrologist is a sweet Russian Jewish lady who cannot shut up about telling me of her life in Russia. It was a crappy life, but she constantly expresses disbelief at people who would oppose people like me.

I think you are using “culture” too broadly here.

“Cultures” are also not singular forces to describe an entire populace. Contrary to layman’s terms, a national culture is made of up many sub-cultures. A majority of these sub-cultures could swing one way and yet only one comes into power via control of the government. We just saw this happen in America. The majority
