Speaking for myself, but “advanced riding” = track days and instruction. Coaching, video reviews, lead-follows, etc. Dinking around in a parking lot kinda loses the appeal when you’re paying the same amount as actual track time.

I’d try it out but, personally, I like the FR-S more (not saying much as I don’t like Miata’s).

No one’s entitled to anything here buddy, this isn’t about that, drop the caps. The rider had two choices: stay behind and go 20 under and be probably safe, or take a risk to only those on the bike and pass. He’s riding for fun most likely in this situation, so risking his own skin is probably part of the fun for him…
