I mean, with the benefit of hindsight, it is probably fair to say David was the more evil of the two. Goliath was just a big bully following orders, but David was the sort of conniving schemer who sent the husband of the woman he loved off to war where he died so David and his wife could get together.

I’ve been playing Mortal Combat since the mid 90s and as an expert on punching villains in the head, I’d say that this video is an embarrassment to Spencer regardless of what the intent was, so that’s awesome.

I don’t know about the rest of it... but I think we can all agree that Celery IS an underrated vegetable.

I’ve been training in boxing and muay thai for about a decade at this point, in addition to my main focus of BJJ and wrestling. While what you’re saying isn’t necessarily wrong, it discounts the adrenaline and circumstances of a real world fight.

If you think you’ve got it bad, you should see how hard it is to bring a child into Appalachia.  There’s a story about it somewhere here on this Pulitzer-Prize winning site.  The story is actually kind of trash but, boy, the comments are gold!

No doubt, you are absolutely correct.

But that punch in particular looks like it was deployed for maximum softness, even to the point of appearing to pull up (and off) and the end.

Suffice it to say, I am a pacifist (seriously). But it’s hard to get worked up about any of these fucks getting lit up.

This always bothered me (boxed for years) - a person who knew how to throw a punch could have literally killed Spencer (not advocating that) with a well thrown sucker punch. That weak shit always seemed suspect.

Still enjoy watching it though.
