How Trumpian of him.

He had a hole in his second favorite drinking arm, which also happens to be his tagging arm.

The guys who do this for a living are saying what you’re saying.

Shocked that he didn’t get plunked in his next AB for disrespecting the pitcher.

I’ve also tried them all (except Wheels), which isn’t available in my area. I agree with these rankings. I’ve also owned several e-scooters. I’m presently very happy with my Dualtron II, which is my primary means of getting around the city when the weather permits.

I lol’d. Defensive guys always seem to forget to lay off haha

Yep. I ran fast and was an ok football player. Occasionally I do something just stupid like just toss my hand up and catch a pass one handed that’s behind my head or bat a ball out of a guy’s hand, catch it, and get my feet in bounds in one move. The folks who didn’t do some sport every day for 20 years of their life

I’m quite confused...the kick was legal. It’s part of the “sport.” It’s disrespectful in the colloquial sense. But it’s just part of the “game” these folks play otherwise.

Irony is calling someone out for arrogance while purporting to speak on behalf of the person’s dead grandfather...

George was having a bad series. But I agree that Westbrook shot OKC out of that final game. The team shot 65% from the field excluding him.

At the time of the original comparison, it made sense to look at Kyrie’s entire Cleveland career vs. Monta’s prime years in Goldenstate. Kyrie’d played a truncated year in Boston, Monta’d played limited minutes as a second round pick in year 1 at GSW. The comparison was especially apt in the context of the

I think this is a good take. And I’m happy to concede everything you’ve said in this and your other two good takes.

.53x vs .56x

He’s living off pre-draft evaluations and (as Joe noted up above) the last three games of a Finals series he would never have played in if he wasn’t on the same team as the best player in the world.

Very good player. Just not the superstar he and the sports commentariat tell us he is.

Ultimately, I don’t want to be too much of a slave to the numbers here. I want the comparison of the numbers over a statistically significant period of time to be more of a tool to help us get to the point of asking and then discussing why we evaluate two players with fairly similar production differently.

I don’t

Funny enough I don’t think Westbrook thinks like that. I don’t think he thinks too much beyond “I’ma grab this rebound. I’ma bust this bum up. Go go go. Oh lemme get this assist right quick.”

Paul George was the best player on the Thunder last year, and for all the (incorrect) talk about Westbrook being unwilling to

I went back and looked at this. If you include Monta’s rookie numbers where he only averaged 18 mins a game, his TS% vs Kyrie’s Cleveland career is only three hundredths of a point lower.

If you throw out Monta’s rookie year and only compare his final 6 seasons with GSW to Kyrie’s Cleveland career (which was my

I sense that you’re a Celtics fan haha.

Whoever gets Kyrie will give him a max deal. The CBA and tv/media time dictate that teams pay guys in the 10-30 range basically the same thing that the top 5-10 guys get...especially if the guy is already on their team (though that last part is more applicable to guys like Kyle Lowry and Mike Conley than Kyrie).

I
