@tomsomething: Or, with luck, it will solidify his resolve.

@TaxiHappy: Zephyr Ion. $350 and you can text message it to start up. (full disclosure: I am not sure if this feature has been implemented yet) the vape is cool and when my Volcano knock-off breaks, this is the one I am getting.

@duck: Just paid $1050 for a Surly Crosscheck. In 20 years of consistent cycling this was the best money I have spent on a prebuilt bike. With new helmet, pedals, fenders, light and tax I spent to the dollar, the MSRP of the above fixie. Not too expensive all-in-all.

@pexy: I feel that this is most obvious at the Newark airport. Those people are really terrible. I don't understand how they think constantly screaming at folks will help.

Isn't AT&T already doing this?

@Mr. Black: Genius. I wish I had thought of that. (It is your's isn't it?)

@Kiwishamoo: So why are you wasting your time reading crap on the internet? Get out there and jump in front of that train and prevent it. Be omnipresent and halt all of the world's ills!

@NanorH: I don't know. I have killed a lot of mice in my line of work. It can be a thing that weighs on you but it has to be done. I don't have a real strong "remorse" either but I do respect the cost of any life in the pursuance of scientific and biological light.

Huh, I suppose you are right to a certain degree. I will offer that geek is more of a Family and hipster is more of a genus. I could probably go genus/species but not all geeks can intermingle so I am going with the former.

@geekymitch: Huh. While this all seems a bit dickish and you should just enjoy the porn, I think it is fair to note that that particular product has been used in hundreds of pornographic films already. Hell, one could say that the two industries prop each other up quite well.

@Chinedu Opara: ...or have an iPhone or read Giz very closely.

@chauncy that billups: I made the mistake of looking. I think I might go play with a "ball" I hear they are challenging...

@valkilmerisawful: You might be missing the point a bit. The 132aa (396 nucleotide) sequence codes for one protein that interacts with another that sets off a signaling cascade for other proteins to be transcribed and perform, build or interact in whatever way the downstream result is. You actually wouldn't be able to

@tedknaz: I don't think that this a great analogy. If the brain is a CD player, the genome is the blueprints of the CD player factory and the basic engineering design of the player.

@blash: I am not entirely sure I agree with you. I cycle and skateboard all of the time. In a 6 block radius, I am way more apt to take my skateboard than my bike in most cases, provided that it isn't raining or snowing. I like not carrying a lock and the other accoutrements that a bike can require and I can just

Considering their GPS reception issues they might be a pot about to make suggestions about a kettle.

@philibuster: Yep, and sometimes I ride one of those too. It is a different scene though. The bike shown here has its place and it is better than cheap crummy options.

So with all of this Apple madness the past few months, I have sworn off buying any new Apple products. Whether this is the right thing to do or not isn't really a concern for me. What is interesting is that I am concerned that I am locked into the iPhone/iTunes combination.

So there are a lot of complaints about the Apple TV setup. Can any of you describe an alternative for me that will cost 229 or less and let me run Boxee at decent speeds? Literally, I am asking, not trying to defend the AppleTV.

Sweet Jesus, that sounds vile. I am a home brewer and wine maker. I think that it makes the most sense to run down to a local or online homebrew store to pick up a proper airlock rather than the balloon but the equipment is about right. That will be 3 dollars well spent.
