It's about how much actually goes into the seemingly smallest decisions of a film, and how the 'right' decision means so much. Or, it's about nothing. You decide.

Is there a new hierarchy with actors, similar to the way it was between movies/tv actors. We've got bad basic cable at the bottom rung (think Lifetime biopics), we've got broadcast tv one step higher (think the entire cast of Hawaii 5-0), we've got prestige basic cable (think The Americans), we've got bad premium…
Don't tell that to the Aryans in Oz.
TOO SOON!
"If you were told you had 3 weeks to live, what would you do? The Last Holiday. A very funny comedy."
I remember watching a featurette on Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow heralding the coming age of movies shot entirely in front of digital backlots. The host were SO into it and couldn't believe why anybody would film in front of actual real sets.
Yeah, I think the 45 minutes or so they spent on Star Trek 4 can legitimately be called a movie.
And coming in the year 2000…Jackass.
Oof. That was rough. Groans from the audience.
Desperate bid to pay off some holistic medicine man quack to cure your disease? Who the hell knows what was going on with her.
He would have to be involved with Jay, since Jay knew where Hae's car was parked after the murder. And that seems highly unlikely.
The 'pathetic' outburst to me sounds like one conspirator pissed that the other cracked. And now Adnan's backed into a corner. If he points the finger at Jay, then he probably has to admit that he had a lot to do with the murder. So he just plays dumb and says Jay is making the whole thing up.
I think I caught her saying 'dude' a couple of times during this podcast. I don't know why, but I kind of fixated on it. I guess because I feel like this podcast is basically doing the same thing as Dateline NBC does so often, and I was just picturing Keith Morrison saying 'dude' throughout. I don't know, it…
Definitely! I sat on a jury a year or so ago for a felony offense, and the public defender just kept babbling on about nothing relative to the case, asking about the location of this item or if the witness drove a car (not even remotely relevant to anything). We all took away that the defense didn't have a case and…
As a juror, all of her time wasting and boredom tactics would have made me think she actually had no real point to make, and was just babbling away.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
And the whole strategy of "bore the witness so he lets his guard down and messes up" just seemed to "bore the jury so they hate you and your clients guts".
Definitely. Her abrasive manner is tough for a typical jury to relate to, as well.
Jay IS black. He was described as a 'weird' black guy who liked white people music and dressed like Dennis Rodman. That's why the cries of racism are odd to me. Everybody involved seems to be a minority, besides for Don Lenscrafters, the new boyfriend.
Jay and Adnan killed her, or were at least both were present for the murder. Both should be locked up forever. Case closed. No more podcasts needed, I have ruled.
