That part is easy to explain. Notice that Clark installs the Jor-El sunstone crystal every time he arrives before Jor-El shows up. I’m not sure if he brings it with him or it’s stored somewhere, but either way Jor-El just plain isn’t active unless that crystal is in place.

The Eradicator didn’t give Kryptonian powers by itself. The X-Kryptonite was the key to that part.

I was sure Supergirl already had a Morgan Edge too, but it turns out it was actually Maxwell Lord as basically the same sort of character (minus the Kryptonian part).

I had not heard that “Geraldine” was Monica Rambeau before starting watching the show, so I was very frustrated when every review I saw explicitly referred to her as such long before the in-show reveal. That would have been a nice surprise.

My gun-loving brother described a scenario in which a PCP-crazed addict breaks into his (fairly remote) house looking for things to steal for more drugs, and he or his wife must empty an entire clip into the person because the bullets don’t stop them until they get right up close. My attempt to suggest this was an

One thing you point out is that it was rated PG. These days that’s essentially considered a kids movie, with the rare G rating typically given to things for the very youngest kids, and PG-13 often being the watershed where parents might need to worry. But when Grease was released though, there was no PG-13. It went

Huh. I distinctly remember Rax, including the windows. I recall getting these gator mascot drinking bottles from there. But I would have sworn it was a burger place. Then again, when you’re that young you’re not exactly detail-oriented.

The last Pizza Hut buffet I remember going to was about 20 years ago, somewhere nearish to Houston. I was on a trip, and stopped for lunch. It was near closing time for the buffet (it was lunch only) and I really wanted to get that buffet. But everything on it looked dry and old by that point, with fresh pizza

I saw the same thing there. That can’t have been unintentional.

That... wasn’t snow.

This is just the “gay panic” defense, repurposed.

Tony never stopped making weapons. Not even in Iron Man (1). He just stopped SELLING weapons. Important distinction. Tony’s whole arc is about trying, repeatedly, to build a big enough, sophisticated enough weapon system to finally achieve world peace. At first he’s content to simply destroy what his company had put

Ew, gross, no. What part of Texas have you been getting that from?

I have eaten fajitas at many restaurants in Texas. Some include shredded cheese, others do not. I don’t expect it, but I do like having it.

Honestly, the Bechdel story made me laugh so hard I cried. Actual tears welled up, I laughed so hard.

Don’t forget TX Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s insistence that people should be willing and happy to die for the sake of the economy. Something he has said multiple times on live TV.

I have a similar issue. Mine is NOT a firstname.lastname address, but it is a short, simple compound word. I get emails from people having signed up for things all the time, and I don’t know why. I changed the password, it didn’t stop. The only new logins I get reported are from me. Sometimes the emails are addressed

The previous Earths of the multiverse do not (necessarily) still exist. What we have is an all new multiverse. There’s probably no alt-Kate to miss alt-Beth. And people didn’t really get “merged” either. Everyone and everything was dead and gone. A new, synthesized Earth-Prime is in every way better than the

There wasn’t “one timeline” though. When they did Flashpoint and so much changed afterwards, Earth-2 Wells showed up and was just as confused by the changes as Barry. Only Earth-1 had been changed. It didn’t spread to the other Earths.

But will there be tiny mod chips?
