I'm a St Andrews alumni. I remember reading that comment. I honestly don't believe it. You can't get a degree from St Andrews without being reasonably intelligent and doing the work. She would have had to do a dissertation for her degree as well and there's no way to fake that.

A lot of disabled people have spoken out about this phenomenon. Needless to say, it’s pretty terrifying to see, especially when the child and the person have the same disability.

We don’t know that it was her only option. It’s the option she took.
