You pointed out the separation in your first sentence when you used the words “fiction” and “reality”. They mean entirely different things. And I know you’ve heard this one before, but to imply that the fiction one consumes directly correlates to an immoral action is advocating thoughtcrime.

If we’re supposed to take video games seriously as an art form, then why aren’t we pushing to discuss and study this in universities and social studies? Shouldn’t this, by definition, be worthy of as much examination and attention as Lolita?
