About what I expected, honestly. There was no way they’d be able to improve upon Cowboy Bebop without massively diverting from the original (because this wasn’t a show where isolated improvements would make a notable improvement), and the Netflix Suits would be terrified by making any notable changes from the original…
Ideally this show would have simply been a serving of new adventures. that could stand alone or complement the original.
Reading this bums me out a bit as I was really looking forward to the show. Still will watch and might enjoy it more now with lowered expectations, but can’t help sighing a bit. The reason I was enthusiastic about this was that while I absolutely adore the original anime, I did think that there was more than enough…
One factor is probably because they tend to be ridden on sidewalks rather than bike lanes.
