I hardly ever comment, but had to login just to respond. First, I love your GIF story. I needed that badly today. Second, It sounds like you are well more than halfway done. If you can stick it out, the degree will be completely worthwhile - even if you don’t work in the same field you majored in.

I second the Wayne Goss suggestion. I have found his videos to be super helpful and he seems to be really accessible.

I have tried paid Hulu twice, but cancelled during the first week because I could watch the 6 episodes in the middle of a TV season. The first 3 and the last 3 episodes of the season were the only ones available. Why would anybody want that? Now I just use Netflix and Amazon Prime. If it’s not on one of those - and I

I just use the Kindle app on my phone. It’s free and no need to wait for a sale.

I was also pleasantly surprised by A Casual Vacancy. Picked it up on a whim, and burned through it in a couple of days.

You should definitely watch Mystic River. It is one of my favorite Kevin Bacon movies. You have inspired me to check out Dennis Lehane.

I loved the Wool series. You should also check out Sand, which is also by Hugh Howey. It is a post-apocalyptic story set in a future Colorado.

You have already gotten a ton of suggestions - that I will also benefit from :)- but I can’t resist sharing.

Yes! And it is awesome and super creepy. Very appropriate for the upcoming holiday.

I saw that one and almost included it!

You seem to be getting a lot of these - and you need them. It sounds like your daughter is doing just fine. She is fed, clean, and provided for. That is pretty much all you need to do at this point.

My husband and I are so jelly right now. I want to be a mermaid that shares the beach with turtles!

That’s awesome! My husband just showed me his dog. I plan on buying the game this weekend, but I have a project to finish first (so naturally I am wasting time online). I am afraid if I have it in my Steam account, I won’t be able to resist playing it. Your picture has motivated me to get my project done.

Me too. I have spent the last couple of hours on reddit (long story short: I am helping my husband get his YouTube channel off the ground) and this was like a shower for my soul. It definitely restored my faith in humanity.
