Local BMW dealer service dept treated us super well when our 5-Series needed servicing. Loaners, shuttles, the works. We didn’t buy there but were treated like any customer that did. It definitely assured that if I ever buy another BMW it’ll be from them. If they’d treated us crappy I’d probably never buy another from

When I talked to the Audi rep at Goodwood FoS a couple years ago and told him I’d buy one if they sold them here he was genuinely shocked and had to check with one of the other guys. Then he still didn’t understand.

Wife and I are thinking of dragging down the Thunderbird if the weather holds. We’ve been to Lustre Pearl before for bike shows and stuff in the past. Is the back lot going to be available for parking ‘show’ cars or street parking only?

Everything is better in Gulf livery.

Counter-counter point. Except for the LFA all of those are actively raced in series around the world. What racing series will a Polestar 1 halo car be racing in to get the brand recognition up?

Been a huge Volvo fan since a kid in the 70s. I still want a Polestar V60. But I just don’t see people spending $155K for a Volvo, not matter how space age and high-tech it is. To most buyers ‘Volvo=Family wagon’.

Seeing as the green diesel nozzles are larger and won’t fit into a normal gasoline tank filler, I’d doubt it was your mistake anyways. You have to really try to get that wrong. It’s gotta be a screwup at the station.

This is easy. In 2014 I got to drive my 1961 Thunderbird around CotA before the Formula 1 race with Felipe Massa riding in back. He was a cool guy and gave me an autographed cap. After the parade I asked if he’d sign my dashboard, which he did most graciously. It was an amazing experience being in the middle of all

As someone who has owned 1/2 dozen Rovers in his day I will say the Freelander is to be avoided at all cost. The OP is correct. It’s not a matter of ‘if’ the engine will drop a sleeve, it’s a matter of ‘when’. I don’t know a single Feelander(unintentional typo is staying) owner in the club I was in that hadn’t dropped

Also, “Welcome Donk Drivers” is a sign that I am 100% positive has never existed before.

I’ve loved Thunderbirds since I was a kid. The Bullets(61-63) and Flair Birds(64-66) especially. They just are great looking cars all around. Keep the tonneau on and you’ve got a sleek roadster look. Take it off and you and a few friends can go cruising. Best of both worlds.

I think that’s a compliment? :)

Already have it. Drove it this morning. Summer is rarely far away in Texas. ‘61 Thunderbird, a.k.a. the Bullet Bird.

I prefer: One Tire Fire or maybe One Wheel Peel.

Now playing

More than once I’ve put this on my third monitor at work first thing in the morning and just let it run. At one point it passes a little fishing resort on a river about halfway through. I keep telling myself some day I’m going to visit that place and spend several day just chilling in a chair and watching the water go

Use your micrometer to get some measurements of the sauce cup, open Fusion360 and create a design in 5 minutes, fire off to 3D printer, wait 15 minutes, Profit. There is nothing special about this product that can’t be made by any cheap consumer level 3d printer.

Why, yes, I did strap a tree to the top of my 50+ year old convertible. It was the only car of mine capable of the task that was running at the time.

That floating roof is the part that really makes them similar to me.

Liberty hasn’t said that the States will get a Sky feed. So far only the world feed, which has no commentary. I’d love for it to be Sky though.
