Complaining about the lack of shade at CotA is never digressing. It’s one of its more major faults, imo. It’s very un-fan-friendly in that regard. Any event held there between May and September _will_ be miserable to attend.

I know. I was there. Got to meet the teams. Erebus gave me a rear bumper off a wrecked Mercedes. :)
They did. Once. And it was awesome. So disappointed they haven’t come back.
It really was a great cruiser. Every time I drove it to work I was voted to drive the crew to lunch. Even when when we owned it at 10 years old it still projected sophistication.
It’s a good thing the military never needs to see the road ahead of them for IEDs or anything. That forward visibility looks horrendous.
I had such a thing for bra-less Charlie Dimmock on their show Ground Force in the 90s. Beginning of each show I’d pray for a cold rain during that episode. So pointy and happy and bouncy.
I was out there Thursday and was talking to the guys. One of my questions was “So, what about these NSX rumors? You can tell a buddy, I promise not to tell.” Nothing. Faces of stone. Less than 24 hours later, *bam*, it’s announced. Probably smart not to tell me. :)
I got some pretty good shots on Thursday. Didn’t return for Friday or Saturday as I just didn’t want to deal with the heat yet again. I decided to watch online and on TV from the comfort of my air conditioned couch.
While on the subject; Why does CotA hate shade? At the gate we had to give up our umbrella we brought…
I guess the Shank team needs to add that to their list of things to test for on their shiny new NSXes next year. :)
I know a couple guys on the crew(they even let me play honorary crew member one race) and hate to see something so silly ruin their race.
Was a teacher. Sometimes swore in class. Never at a student. It was usually done to make a point and only once I’d read the class and was fairly sure they’d be comfortable with it. Over many years and hundreds of students I never saw one flinch. It was high level technical training. In IT of you don’t swear at the…
There’s no more weeks after this? Shit, I have a lot of stuff to do.
It didn’t until 3 hours later. C’mon. ;)
Yes. So you can reload them. During the war some metals/commodities were in extremely short supply. Throwing perfectly good casings on the ground was just a bad idea. It’s that or let them fall on the ground where the enemy can pick them up for melting down and loading in the caliber of their choice.
Let’s provide a link. This was the best answer and it was missed completely. The Goodwood Revival will be broadcast live all weekend. I hope to be out there again next year.
What’s a ‘Gawker’? I am unfamiliar with this word.
How do I know you’re gay?
