Stretch the nose out on a Lamborghini Urraco and you’d have twins.

One of those rare moments of clarity hit me many years ago, sometime in the early 90s.
When a dude-bro goes on a forum and tells of the sick street race he had against some other supposedly faster car and beat them. “Guys! My clapped out Civic with a fart-cannon totally killed that Lambo.”
Most of the time my assumption is they car they ‘killed’ didn’t even know there was a race on and was just driving…
Actually, fighter jet ejection seats work perfectly well from the ground. They shoot the pilot up high enough to get a full canopy opened. It’s less than a comfortable experience though.
That ‘roll cage’ folded like a cheap paper cup.
Let’s see, it’s 100F+ outside right now and my classic has no A/C. I think I’ll pass on the idea of daily driving it for a few months each year. Even with upgraded cooling, it’s tough to keep a 50+ year old 390FE from overheating while just sitting at a light in those temps too.
Heh, I never thought that. I own a ‘61 T-Bird already. And the preferred nickname is ‘Bullet Bird’. ;)
I’ve been drooling over these for a while now. Saw a pristine example in London a few weeks ago. The clouds parted and the sun threaded its way through the tall buildings just to light this beauty up.
Sounds more like they are trying to copy the Fiat 500 Abarth than a Mini.
Video is mine with a bone stock exhaust at an autocross.
Yeah, 4k is the full 360 resolution it seems. so any one direction it’s still appears less than 1080. I loaded it into my Oculus hoping I could see us clearly. Sadly, no.
I was thinking the same thing. Take 60 seconds and remove that tire.
It’s not high res enough for me to see myself in the stands at Molecomb Corner. I am disappoint. Sadly, we were eating lunch at this point so I wasn’t taking pics. It would have been awesome to provide the reverse angle of this video.
Defenders/Land Rovers were always made out of aluminum. It’s not like it’s a new thing. One of their weaknesses was the steel frame and bulkhead. Where it came in contact with body panels you’d get some galvanic corrosion but the body doesn’t rust.
Give me a Spaceship Earth at the same scale and you can take all my monies.
We booked _really_ early. Stayed just two miles away in a nice bungalow in Chichester. 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. If we’d had bikes we’d have been set. We drove instead. But you have to book like the second dates are announced.
Seriously, where else will you see this on the track:
Here ya go from the other side. Strung together my shots into a GIF. :)
We were lucky enough to attend Goodwood last weekend and, while the new supercars are pretty and sound neat, I find it more fun watching the guys in the really old stuff. If you switch the color palette it’s hard to tell if the pic was taken a week ago or 100 years ago. I had so much fun talking to the drivers/owners…
I can say they lost my potential sale. I was interested in the game but heard about cheat issues already during the beta. I’m not going to spend my hard-earned money to play a cheater-ridden game. I read up a lot on the issue and don’t believe they can fix the problem either.
We’ll be back. All the way from Texas. We were lucky enough to book waaaaaay in advance and get a place outside Chichester <2 miles from the venue. We could have walked or rode bikes but drove because we are lazy fucks and wanted to save energy. I think there was a pretty nasty accident Saturday that really hosed…
