I spoke to a friend of mine, and he told me that there is an issue with trolls on Kotaku specifically around Gamer Gate. I wasn’t aware of this. You are welcome to see me, as a real person, with a history on twitter @TriforceFusion. I followed the people who shared my sentiment on this article because I assumed they

What a disgusting sentiment you have commented here. Why does someone deserve to be beaten and stolen from in general, let alone just based on their appearance?

I made an account to comment on this because I felt strongly about the poor taste of this content. Normally I read Kotaku and go on my way, but I don’t appreciate someone feeling excited to target a person because they look like a ‘dweeb’ and not like Klara “she’s so cute with that puffy coat and bow on her head.”

I seriously hope that you are being hyperbolic about “grinding [this nerd] into the dust” and wanting to do stereotypical bullying activities like stealing their lunch money based on their eccentric appearance. Otherwise this is just a cruel point of view that perpetuates the idea that it’s okay to treat someone
