i always liked that body style. IIRC my friend had a coupe with manual transmission! very likeable car. I read that it was called the Apollo and Sceptre in other markets. Cool names, right?

was recently in nyc for the first time, saw lots of those bumper bully shox things and a lot of just plain beat to heck sad looking cars.

This might have something to do with worn out gas tank parts and sensors like the float mechanism etc. I’ve had older cars that are empty but with a guage showing almost half a tank left, and others that show empty but actually still have half a tank of gas!

reading this makes me want to give you a pat on the back and beat up junkyard tire bullies. or at least get your back if one threatens!

As I read your article, it reminded me of the song “Riding with Private Malone” - a song that always tugs at my heartstrings. Anyways, in the song, the guy kept the car and wasn’t flipping it which makes it pretty much okay in my mind.

If you can figure out how to make it happen on command, it will help troubleshoot it. For me there was an odd bump in a stretch of road that if I went over it going between about 35-40mph it was cause the wobble every time. Then you could trying replacing a suspect part and see if you still the wobble.

i think the dude is built a little more like bruce lee. what’s even more amazing is his cigarette stays in his mouth the entire time.

Also for us non-morning people, our minds are not always the clearest right when we wake up, at least mine isn’t :-) So it works better for me to wait a bit before checking and responding.
