Way harder to repair bonded panels, Corvette owner here so I know the hard way. Gluing down new panels is a nightmare as opposed to working with metal/aluminum panels that you can bolt up/weld/form/take dents out of. Plus if there’s a smaller accident the whole panel is done for or you need to fix the cracks instead…
