Get a pile of plywood.  Move that pile 3 times.  About 50' each time.  That was my construction hazing 20 years ago and it was a fantastic workout.  After that summer I couldn’t buy a suit off the rack.  My shoulders and waist were mismatched by 16 inches.  I had a 32 inch waist and the suit that matched my shoulders

I watched so you don’t have to:

Speedrunning stories are like EVE Online stories. I have no comprehension of how the shit works or why people do it, have no interest in trying it myself, and I absolutely love reading every single one.

Okay, I watched it so you don’t have to.

1. extra shirt

5. noise-canceling headphones

I watched it so you don’t have to:

1) Being cold doesn’t make you catch cold, nor does going out with wet hair, but being cold has been linked to weakening you immune system and making you more susceptible to illness

2) There’s not scientific backing for the “Five Second Rule”, but you’re still probably okay if your

I do not understand Lifehacker’s move to have content like this moving to videos.

I upgraded over the summer from a Galaxy S7 that was four years old but still worked well to an S21 that I generally like. I stopped into a Verizon store to ask them an unrelated question about billing, and they offered me a new S21 for $240. I thought I wasn’t likely to find a deal like that again (S21 was running

Just a heads up, RES is now going into solid maintenance mode for now. A post was made literally yesterday, but the gist of it is, not enough hands to update/fix RES when Reddit screws something up or changes it’s API. It’s basically reliant on old.reddit.com, so if that goes down, RES goes as well. Unfortnate.

Oh Heil no. That isn’t her real last name is it??

As somebody who plays War Thunder, these incidents are sadly understandable. The game is sold on Historical Accuracy(TM) and the devs encourage people to find documents on the specifications of historical vehicles to make changes to their performance in-game. The game features modern vehicles now, too, and of course

If you happen to have a Hori Split Pad Pro connected to your Switch, this is a really solid case that accommodates it. Also, I love the moon theme. https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Switch-Controller-Protective-Carrying-Cartridges/dp/B08G87X88X/

I have an idea - Classic Controls mode. Clearly this is a divisive issue, so why not give us both? The Skyrim horse for some, the modern vehicle for others? Seems like that’d make everyone happy.

I’ve still never played it, but it's one I've got downloaded to my PS5. I have an amazing PC which kept me from getting the XSX, but had to jump back in to Sony for their exclusives. I am excited to play it though!

Well ent that just the thing

I quit WoW for a similar reason. When people in the guild start acting like your boss or you start getting “punished” for attendance or taking breaks, you gotta walk away from that shit.

Basically, it’s FF7 as you remember it, not as it actually looks. Cool.

I know you’re making fun of that idea but...

We see the (impressive) result and the (careful) execution, but.... how does one plan something like that ? It sounds to me the design work must take a lot more than 50 hours.

I think you’re overestimating how much an indie developer gets to pick and choose the publishers they work with. If you were in the same situation, you might not have been able to be so principled.

Spend your money however you want, I don’t care, just know you’re gonna get some critique for it if you put in on a public
