1) What ways would you recommend to prevent damage to the cords of headphones? I've caused 3 loose connections at the place the cord meets the plug. I do not fold them into tight circles or anything, but I do keep them in my pants (which aren't tight, by any measure) whenever I expect I won't use them for an extended…

I've used the dump information to diagnose problems quite a few times, until my computer started to not dump the information, even though it said it does. :(
