I’ve never owned a 1997 Acura Integra ( a friend did and it was an awesome car ) but I did own a 1997 Acura 1.6 EL and it was the best car ever.Built quality was impeccable. Reliability too. Even if it wasn’t powerful, it was so fun to drive.
another good option is to buy a car you can afford on a 5 year loan. Pay off the car over 5 years and keep for an extra 2-3-4 years afterwards.

I drive a 2016 Honda Civic. I average 6 to 6.5 l per 100 km in warm weather. During winter, I average 8.5 to 9 l per 100km ( heating up the car to defrost the windows, etc ).

CAA Quebec ( our equivalenet of AAA ) now as a Leaf made to charge other electric vehicles. They can transfer you about 25 km of range in 15 minutes.
