Take it from a German, it’s highly unlikely that this is a fake. I have dealt so many times with the Polizei and yes, things like these do happen. For them it’s a “zero fucks given, routine rules” thing. Hilarious video in any case.

It is obvious that in many of the trickier situations (boss fights, getting to the BFG in the chamber) they were inspired by terrific movie scenes that played on lasers and evasive maneuvers. Think REsident Evil’s red queen chamber scene:
