I didn't watch it from the start because I really had no interest in watching a show that was basically "lol this guy's a conservative."  I'm aware that it's evolved since then and will give it a chance soon.

Invention of Lying would've been a better film if it hadn't suddenly lurched towards atheist propaganda.

The K-Mart isn't at 38th and 6th, it's at Penn Station.

Wait, he died?  When?

No, he clearly meant Life On Mars (US)'s Dean Winters.

"Last night I got a squeezer from a stripper!  A WHITE stripper!"

Seeing Beth Littleford in detergent commercials is so depressing.

Wasn't Burt Reynolds' character a former NFL player?

Yep.

Just a Very Special Episode.

I'm watching the series on Netflix and skipped S1 entirely.  I've heard it's not worth watching.

For whatever reason, I loved Fernwood 2-Night reruns when I was a kid.

I don't really think it was intended as a commentary on abortion, and the whole idea of the show was to satire well-worn sitcom tropes, such as "character has to be in two places simultaneously, and the groups at each place can't meet each other."

I dunno about most cringe-inducing, but it's definitely the one that hits closest to home for me.  Something about the one-two punch of seeing your older brother making out with your crush and then having your dad force you to put on a show for the adults.

He's a libertarian, right?

"Thus Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan could, in theory, appear as retired or even defected previous 'James Bond's."

Came here to nominate The Way Way Back.

Either that or the fact that it's not available legally in the US yet.

I don't really know if it worked or not, because I only saw 5-10 minutes towards the end, and didn't know, for example, if it gave an explanation as to why black roles and white roles were reversed.

Or the episode of Are You Being Served? with the minstrel show.
