This is a message for those of you who have never sold software in a store before, or dealt with a publisher on some level, or have only sold your software on your web site.

@JCiccone: Ubuntu for Netbooks rules. Unfortunately Arch is extremely stripped down and a tremendous pain in the ass to install, unless you happened to be a linux admin and so I would never recommend this to anyone.

@ItsMeMasih: Good point, I'm glad I never have to worry about it at all on my mac. I can add and remove items all day long and it doesn't seem to effect my mac.

@The Lab: Yes but who wants another $800 PC.

@Adam Bath: Try it again in six months and let us know how long it takes once you add and remove a couple of large programs. If you haven't installed your virus protectors I can see you getting these kinds of times as well.

This response made the RIM look so bad.

@A.Jaswal: I think you are looking at this kind of backwards.

Safe word people.

Wait... When can I get the robot that does dishes...

@meske: Shouldn't that be "Cheap publicity stunt, Apple and Sony?

@dropdeadseven: Just because they are in production doesn't make them worth buying. And something promised is not something I can actually purchase. Windows 7 has been out for a year and a half now and manufacturers still can't make a good touch screen tablet for it. The problem is not the hardware, its a combination

@dropdeadseven: Apple didn't cost the lives of 12 Foxconn (not Foxcom) employees, poor labor conditions did. Keep in mind that Microsoft also has products made there along with Dell, Sony and Nintendo.

@Bubbsdaddy: Anything that you store in iTunes can be streamed to the AppleTV.

I would like to point out that in order to have Netflix or Sky Player on an XBox you need to have a gold membership which costs $50/year on top of your Netflix account. This is not the case with any of the other boxes.

@wakeskater17: I think the actual test involves offering the driver a bag of Cheetos and if they can't resist it they fail the test.

@ho0lee0h: Because we don't need to worry about Microsoft trying to take over the world. :)

I just bought an iPhone 4. Since I am in an area that I don't have issues with AT&T it works the best for me. I don't really care for Blackberry's OS and I have not found a Droid that responds to touch commands as well as the iPhone. Forget anything Windows on the phone, past experiences have been crap.

@blyan-reloaded: I feel better about myself because I paid the Microsoft Tax of $50/year for XBox Live account so I can have multi-player gaming... on a multi-player gaming box.

Never discount "First to Market". While others were still trying to figure out what they wanted to put into their hardware Apple had released tens of thousands of apps.
