I text an average of perhaps 20 times a month max. Call or write, I'm not a fan of 160 character messages. All of these texts are purely used to inquire quick information or relay a quick message (to people who prefer texts of course). Nothing more.

@irfan: Unfortunately...

I'm on the side of the radio, there is really no reason for them to pay up a performance fee. In most cases the label provides the singles and records for them to play, so that the radio can promote the artist and the music. It's a win win. With promotion comes sales of albums, merch, and concert tickets.

They always launch this right when the fall semester rolls around :(

I'm really really looking into perhaps buying this for use as a note-taking device. It looks awesome, and totally usable to me. The price though is a bit steep. :(

Ewww Bose phones. My cheap Sony $25.00 IEMs kick the trash out my Bose In-Ear sets (both the new and old version). Never buying another Bose product again.

Sticking with my Akai. What's not to love about reel to reel players? All the quality of vinyl, plus easy to edit and record new things.

It's times like this I miss living up in Stateline, NV. Hopefully I'll be able to get a ride out of Vegas to look up and enjoy.

What a prick.

Looking forward to the Las Vegas meetup tonight! Happy Giz Day!

Too much to handle, I didn't think they could be that bad. I'm loving the teen who demonstrates installing the MGS4. Ha-ha!

That's pretty cool, and I've had some similar experience with signal loss up in mountains far off from the closest tower. While traveling a cave system we toured suddenly granted us access to cell reception, the first time in a full week of travel in the mountains.

Looking forward to the Vegas event! Let's hope nothing comes up.

I couldn't agree more, the only thing I make sure my cables are is durable and not too thin/weak. Aside from that unless you're rocking the craziest setup they really aren't any good. Same goes for headphones, I never understood paying so much for re-cabling.

My thoughts exactly! While I am more so a headphone audiophile, I get my speakers in too. The great thing about speakers more then any technology is that it doesn't change much. Sure there have been some revisions on types of drivers (electrostatic, orthodynamic, just to name a few). The fact of the matter is, you can

This is why I praise bands who avoid all of this—mess. It doesn't make any sense at all. Bands don't make that much money from the published music itself, it makes it from the tours and merch. It's just the people like the RIAA and the blokes who publish that are pulling in the cash. With the internet, it only makes

To be honest, I could care less if Rad Shack went under, but T-Mobile I don't see going anytime soon. Radio Shack has long since died. I no longer can go to my locations and buy all the normal components I'd need to make simple electronic devices, and the employees now are all but helpful. No one could identify any
