it was one of those things that saved the show. season one was bland, but when they started into those jokes and on that path of craziness it brought out the show's humor.

the thing about this show is that it probably had the most successful instance of incest humor ever found on TV. the way christine and her brother Matthew had that undercurrent of attraction was perfect and i would argue helped the show find it's voice. as bizarre as that sounds.
plus they can smoke in the theater by claiming it's part of the bar atmosphere
plus it would be a bigger reversion to the status quo than silicon valley. probably one of the biggest returns to status quo that didn't involve a dream sequence or resurrection.
yara's going to learn what happens when a leader is too far ahead of their people. the iron islands aren't going to take kindly to suddenly having to sow (what was their motto again?). force might be able to change them and the change would be for the better, but there will be a resistance in the islands against her…
it seems unlikely, but i hope they find a way to keep her president. sure it'll be humiliating if she's veep again, but most of the tension just vanishes. unless she goes on a frank underwood campaign to destroy james and there's no way meyer could pull that off.
my money on the rumor is that the high sparrow is a pedophile. that's probably not enough to bat an eye for most of westeros, but given how mightily the sparrow has covered himself in religious honor it would heavily discredit him
this is a really interesting point. with most of the plots they're not really in winds of winter yet, heck, according to sam it's still autumn. sansa, Jon and (the lack of) Stannis are the only ones who are really ahead of the books. Tyrion and Dany are just feel like stalling at this point and the greyjoys are…
it absolutely seems like they're backing cersei into a corner and forcing her to kill tommen. the extra focus on how much cersei loves her kids, will do anything for them just adds to this.
even though it screwed cersei and the clegagnebowl, tommen outlawing trial by combat is probably the best thing a westerosi king has done since robert, maybe even the mad king or earlier.
nice to see a child leader actually not be terrible. especially after torture mcgee, breast feed mcgee, super toruture mcgee and fucking tommen.
forgot fry's dog
kind of ironic that the state where duck dynasty is filmed doesn't consider it to be its favorite show
maybe they just use an archer bot going forward, maybe a little improved so it won't just bread down. the scene with the fake archer in the chamber showed it can do most of what archer does normally, so it wouldn't be too much of a change
the whole "we subverted your expectations of a subversion by doing the most obvious thing" didn't really work. This is especially true considering it was the season finale, which is usually the best episodes of the season, even in seasons 5 and 6 which were iffy for a number of reasons (although 5 was better in…
that seemed pretty mean. to pigs and mr. burns
it's nice that they eventually showed peridot camp pining heart had more than one episode
anyone think that jack's going to end up in hooli, probably to run their division since he had been hired to run pied piper?
wait, what? It did that? I knew gary cole was birdman, but the actor playing X was here too? I wonder if he finally got the CREST ON BIRDMAN'S HELMET!!!
oh springfield's only good lawyer
