“What a time to be alive...” LoL! Best line in the whole video.

I think the case of the scooter app is a great example. I have 6-7 scooter apps on my phone. There are only 2-3 scooter companies operating in my town that I actually use on a regular basis. The others are for companies that operate in other countries or on the east coast. When I needed them I had to spend 5-10min…
How so. Are you denying that they scan emails for data on how to market to you? Because I got that right from a programer working for google. He said that it wasn’t people actually people reading the emails but there is an algorithm that is scanning all your gmail for ways to market to you.
Well google does sell your data and it can be traced to you. They may say it’s anonymized, but that has been proven to be a worthless statement.
But it isn’t just a broad statement made in an interview. They have been very specific and direct about their intentions towards data gathering. They have put it in ads and even made it a significant part of their keynote today.
“Don’t be evil” yeah... that was pretty funny. They sure didn't follow that one.
So what you are saying is they don’t gather my data but they do?! Apple gathers the same basic info any company does. They get my credit card info when I buy their stuff. They get my address to send it to me. They have my email address and they know what I have bought from their various market places and stores. …
That’s what AT&T thought when trying to limit people’s unlimited data. But they had to settle that case. No, Apple would be open to law suits if they specifically lied in marketing materials. It would in no way get you laughed out of an attorney’s office. Unless that attorney didn’t like money... and there are…
Again, apple specifically says they don’t want our data. What proof do you have that they harvesting it? Also, Google and Microsoft have pretty good track record?! Really?! Google does nothing but gather your data and track you. It’s their entire business model. They even scan your gmail for ways to market to you.…
Do you have ANY proof that they are lying? Seriously. Imagine the lawsuit they would open themselves up to after marketing their products specifically on the fact that they do not want our data. It would cost them billions in cash and millions of customers. For what? Especially if they aren’t selling that data. …
Ahhh you are one of those. The “My platform is doing it so all platforms must be doing it” crowd. Even though there is no proof and apple has specifically stated that they do not want our data. Seems like that would open them up to huge legal liabilities if it ever came to light that they were lying. Not typically…
Proof?
Looks like all good stuff. Look forward to using all the new features. Although I’m hesitant on the whole dumping intel thing. Just have to wait and see on that one. Glad apple finally made a translate app that isn’t spyware too. I mean android and google can have all the features they want, I’m never going to…
See, 30º is just too small a scale for judgment of what’s comfortable. 75º is comfortable in my apartment, but 78º isn’t. That’s what 24º-25ºc... too close.
But if you look at it from a human point of view instead of water’s point of view. 0º-100º is the range of comfortable human habitation. When it’s above 0º, or below 100º that is livable with adjustments to wardrobe. Outside of that, things go bad quickly. -17º - +38º just not a great range to deal with. Also,…
Take your star.
Not always... *pressure dependent. Anyway. Who wants to say 38º in Siberia? That just sounds so much colder than 100º.
What’s not normal about 100ºF. Just looking at that number feels hotter than 38º... I was onboard with switching to metric in the 70's but what are you going to do? No one wanted to put liters of gas in the car or or drive Kph. ‘Merica.
Imagine if the article said it was 310.93º in Siberia today. 100º feels hotter than 38º just sayin’.
