They must have been “Africanized” honey bees.
Or, and I know this is crazy, just stop doing the objectively horrible thing they started ding last week. Simple. Just go back to the policy they had under Obama and was in place last week. That way you wouldn’t be using the lives of real people and hostage real family in order to put through a stupid wall policy…
Nope. This is new. We all know it’s new. It is a change made by this administration, and was just put in place by Jeff Sessions. The whole “this has been going on since Obama” BS has been thoroughly debunked. This didn’t happen during Obama’s admin on this scale. People were only detained if there was a criminal…
No, it wasn’t. This is a new policy. Previously people applying for asylum were allowed to stay with their children while they waited for their hearing. They weren’t even detained unless they had a criminal record or posed a specific threat to the country.
Well, they are held in cages. Inside converted big box stores. Even if they weren’t, locking up the parents looking for asylum instead of letting them wait for their hearing with their kids is inhumane. Shit, the catholic church has even weighed in saying its not christian. The worst part is they try to blame this…
You know how you can tell this isn’t being blown out of proportion and is objectively horrible? Even Laura Bush wrote an op-ed condemning this practice. For her to come out of the woodwork for this issue is a big deal.
From an article on this site last week:
I was under the impression that combining SB 822 and SB 460 would water down 822 and taken the net neutrality regulations that it was trying to put in place. Are they really going to drop all the bad weak points of 460 in favor of 822's tougher regulations? Or is it going to be some kind of milk toast compromise…
Lex Luther, I assume, would be an Ayn Rand fan.
“William puts the card with his profile on it inside a copy of Slaughterhouse-Five.”
Holy shit... thank you. I think you nailed it right there. Never knew snyder was a Rand fan. Makes sense now though. That’s why he screwed up Superman. Reminds me of the old quote about Atlas Shrugged and lord of the rings:
I purchased the original watchmen issues in the 80s as well as two different covers for the graphic novel and still have them today. I waited decades for someone to make a movie. I am an original watchmen fan. I was a Todd McFarlane fan BEFORE Spawn. I went to see it extremely excited. I was disappointed to say the…
Having purchased the original issues back in the 80s and still own them to this day, I can say I am an original fan... and I kind of felt that the movie was insulting to the original story. That said, you are correct. It was possibly the best we could have hoped for. Which is sad. I waited for that movie for…
Sucker! I looked on IMDB and I can’t find a good movie that he has made. The only one I’m not sure about was that owl one. Was that any good? Dawn of the dead was ok, but forgettable. 300 was meh. Watchmen was insulting to fans of the original comic. Why do they keep giving him money?
“So, like everyone else ever mad at AT&T, Zack Snyder fans...”
I went there all I could find was a short 8 minute video. Where is the rest of it?
If 4 of those 6 are blue thats a wash because the other 2 will be red. Making a net gain of 2 on either side. Which is a win for republicans because they would have stripped California of 12-15 typically blue electoral votes. Make no mistake, the GOP wants this. They want it BAD.
Also, sounds way to hypothetical. We’ll deal with what we can deal with. And we won’t sacrifice our values to do it.
GPS blocking? That’s highly illegal. If you jam a GPS signal you can go to jail and get a huge fine.
