Also, I’d be willing to bet that 100x more people have played Ms. Pac-Man than any of those games you mentioned. 30 years of quarters being put in to machines, day-in day-out, rain or shine, in probably every single arcade on the planet... That really adds up.

Again, not as famous as Ms. Pac-Man or probably even portal. I’ve also never heard of those other games either. If you ask an average person on the street if they have heard of Ms. Pac-Man, they would probably say yes. DOTA... Not so much. And portal was a mod that got picked up by valve.

I don’t even know what DOTA is. Seriously, I had to look it up. Portal was a half life 2 mod, which was then turned into probably one of the best video games of all time. Also, everyone has heard of Ms. Pac-Man, and it was everywhere and is still in my regular pizza place.

Women on average only make a percentage of what men make doing the same job.

Maybe not as famous a mod a Ms. Pac-Man but a close second.

It took me a second.

For weeks after the opening, people lined up around the block for Dunkin Donuts in Santa Monica, CA. There were at least 2hr waits for DD coffee and donuts 2 weeks after the opening. One guy camped out for 2 days to be the first in line on opening day. He got free coffee for year for his trouble.

Wait, What?!

I’ve know a lot of people who use Vuze/Azureus they seem to love it. Why isn’t it listed?

Dude... that’s not cool.

Thank god he didn’t make the cover...

Vermeer used a camera obscura to trace the scenes on his canvas. So if the controversy is about their talent for drawing a realistic scene, Vermeer is relevant to the discussion. If it is about copying someone else’s work, then my Vermeer reference doesn’t apply because he set up his own scenes and compositions.

Is that the Borealis?

Decades... try centuries.

What about a mac mini? I have two. Best HTPC ever. Plays games quite well... not the best “gaming rig”, but Ive played plenty of recent games on it without issue. It runs windows, OS X, linux... you name it. It’s small, quiet, and comes with some of the best customer service out there. All that and It’s is almost

Or you could just use an app for your phone like fing which scans your whole network in seconds and displays names, addresses, and manufactures.

Haters gonna Hate.

That it is. Only when I play a pretty graphics intensive game do I barely hear the fan, and it is only 10 ft away.

Touche’ Though the Mac mini is the best HTPC I’ve ever used and it it runs windows when I want to slum it.
