Yes, it is a Spex Elf. Built on a 1st-generation Civic chassis. The tail lights were sourced from a 1979-83 Fox body Mustang or Mercury Capri. I thought it was a pretty neat car when it first premiered in 1984, but I was just a poor, dead broke college kid at the time. Anything looks good to you at that point in your

Still the most idiotic thing I’ve seen this year.

The way the surrounding motorists all bail in under 7 seconds is worthy of mention.

IIRC correctly there is a episode of late 70’s early 80’s show Hart to Hart, where crime fighting advernture duo Jonathan and Jennifer Hart enter a rally in Europe driving one of these!

Easy!

I’m seeing lots of Dodge Durango here.

I have that box sitting right here on display in my room! Love the SNES Sim City. It’s the only version of Sim City I’ve ever liked playing.

Astro’s had a similar light design.

I had completely forgotten this version. Take a look at that sharply angled hood that’s similar in length to the windshield. I’m thinking early Carvan.

Street racing sucks. That doesn’t make this good. There are 3 sets of parents who just lost their kids.

I grew up across the road from Miramar in the 80s. All the neighborhood kids would come over to my house and we’d climb on the roof to watch the practices and shows. One of my best memories is during a practice around 1984. We had #5 fly over our house at what felt like 20-feet(probably more like 100-feet) off the

I’m pretty sure most Michigan cars see that much salt in one winter week.

What does an alternator have to do with any of this?

Words fail me.

not gonna lie, would hoon. that’s a good looking rig.

I agree with the sentiment. You should have picked a different vehicle. The Pilot is quite capable and does damn near everything (except be fast and sporty but that’s not its job) quite well. It even has a proper locking differential for the 4WD system.
