Mad Max approves.

Maverick, burnt out as a Top Gun instructor, finds a new love in motor sports. Starts with sprint cars and eventually lands a ride in nascar... (This sounds familiar, hmm)

There is one sitting in my aunts garage in KY. Dark Burgundy and in great shape. I always liked the look of those Monties.

Flappy Bangs

Also from a Kawasaki Ninja.

I enjoyed the shit out of this article. More!

If you look closely, I believe you'll find the front left to be about 1-2 psi low.

You may have broke the record for the most big words used in a single sentence.

...and the decision for the movie tonight has been made.

That looked awfully close to a danger to manifold. He should check the bolts on the floor pans after that run.

Agreed. I’ve been following that guys videos from the start. Amazing. I know we’re talking scale model vehicles and engines but this guy blew my mind. He made a scale model of Cain of Robocop 2 from scratch in his garage. It’s a long thread but worth it for the great photos and explanations. Truly talented artist.

Should the wheel come off that easy?

I'll never forget Garlits flip in Englishtown. I had a poster of it when he was completely vertical hanging in my bedroom as a kid. My dad was a big NHRA fan, so we would go to the Spring Nationals in Columbus, OH every year.

I was also add the the experience of standing next to a top fuel dragster at startup in the pits and witnessing a 300+ mph pass of said dragster from the stands. Mind blowing.

If you're going to be dumb, you gotta be tough.

*yawn* I guess this is what passes for road rage in Canada.

Correct. That was kind of what I was getting at. For strictly stereo music listening, you can get (in some cases) $2k audio quality from a $200 vintage receiver.

I would have a tech specializing in vintage equipment take a look. Over time, the capacitors may go bad and need replaced. For a couple hundred dollars, it could sound better than new and last another 300 years.

After a quick search, looks like about $800. Funny, because my Aventage HT amp cost my $799.99. I also remember reading that the late 70's was the pinnacle of the Japanese companies trying to one up each other in receivers and speakers. Lots of there flagship products such as my ns1000m speakers were sold at a loss.
