I gave up on PC gaming years ago so I no longer had to worry about upgrading every year or two in order to get the best graphical experience possible out of my games. This is not a path any console gamer should want to see.

More importantly, had I known or even remotely suspected that within a year and a half of buying

Sensor error. No joke. Definitely worth it for everyone to own their own OBDII scanner, even if you’re getting ripped off on some $100+ model with fancy bells and whistles you don’t need. A scanner and a Google search will help you make sure your garage is honest and is doing the work they’re supposed to.

Exactly this. Obviously you shouldn’t be taking road trips on a check engine light, but getting yourself home from work, stopping off for some groceries, and bringing the car in the next morning is never going to lead to catastrophic failure, especially if you can’t hear or feel anything different in the car.

Had a check engine code that kept repeating and I kept the logs of whenever it would come up. Unfortunately I didn’t think I had to go with my father to BMW to explain what code we were getting and the info I found relating to coolant system issues. The first time they reset the code, ran some diagnostics, and sent

Not bad at all. Definitely a useful tool for DIY car guys. Saved me several hundred on my own car a few times, and even helped force BMW into properly resolving my dad’s repeated check-engine light and refunding him thousands in unrelated work they charged him for that should have been covered by warranty. NES doesn’t have funs to actually vacuum in surrounding dust and hair and junk. Looking at how bad this PS3 is and with years of experience rebuilding and fixing PCs and consoles, I’d say that was a combination of smoke tars and either owning an animal or never dusting on or around the system ever.

A phone is great for the majority of moments you’re not going to be prepared with a camera on you, and I felt very much the same until my old camera fell in water recently and my last three smartphones outshot it... But I got around to replacing it with a waterproof Panasonic p&s and brought it with me on vacation.

I'm sorry, but in case you weren't able to actually contextualize what the study really indicates, women are not suddenly the new tech target demographic.

You know, for a site that pointlessly proclaimed you're done with Kickstarter (to which many basically replied "STFU, trolls"), you guys sure do write about it a lot.

I need to learn how to make these. I have a feeling that setting myself up with decent wood-working equipment is going to be my biggest challenge, but it'll pay itself off in the long run.

I'm actually pretty disappointed I didn't bust out the credit card last night and buy this... For such a unique piece, it would have been worth it. Came back this morning to see them sold out :(

Actually, it is end grain. Totally worth it.

I love spiral staircases, and I know design is very subjective, but this is the furthest away from gorgeous spiral staircases I have ever seen.

Yeah... I'm pretty confident this wasn't designed with smoking tobacco in mind.

"but the fact remains that an iPhone 3GS owner—a phone that came out in 2009—can upgrade to 2012's latest without any trouble at all"

So... can we stop calling it A.D.D and pumping kids full of drugs yet?

"We have no plans to offer access to Netflix to our customers through our Xfinity TV service, no matter what device"

Couldn't care less. Not buying an iPad until it's 16x9. I don't care for Apple's stubbornness in doing this their own way... Their aspect ratio makes no sense at all.

Stop calling it the iPad 3 already then. What in Apple's track record makes you think this thing isn't going to be badged something like iPad 2s? If it looks the same, they're not upping the version number, I'm pretty sure.

As was I.
