Did it sell a ton more Apple PC's in 1984? Did it help Apple take over the world, and challenge the status quo? I didn't need to live through it to know that Microsoft/ IBM / x86 PC's beat the shit out of them for the next 20 or so years. It did fucking die. I didn't need to be 20-something back then to understand

First of all, be careful before going around saying "your type". You have no idea who I am, or what my opinions or beliefs are.

What I would ask is how neither of you understand that despite whatever the intended message was back then, it's grown to take on a whole different meaning, and people are commenting on the significant irony in the message that it gives off.

I don't disagree, and I definitely recognize the difference between this and pop-culture status. I supposed I have a vastly different view on what would make a "great commercial", especially one being called the "Best Superbowl Commercial", and "one of the best ads of all time".

I second this.

"Oh and the funny thing is the NFL actually hates these illegal streams and was a big supporter of SOPA because of them. Take that you happyness-sucking suits!"

"The study by Canalys has troves of data about global smartphone sales, which seem to lend credence to the theory that smartphones are becoming the main computing devices of the masses."

"The Best Superbowl Commercial"

At 60 mbps over cable, I really can't complain about my downloads.

I'm not at all frustrated by it... There's a difference between predicting a direction, and taking up arms against it.

Yeah... Seemed like a reasonable conversation for this guy to be having.

You're right, I wasn't aware it wasn't available with contract through T-Mobile. My comments apply to the fact that if you're buying it on contract, you're pretty much stuck with the company for that length of time anyways, otherwise you're paying early cancellation fees. At that point, just get a new phone. I

Meh, more just social commentary than anything remotely resembling fact, really. I put way more time into staring at mine than I should, and so do a lot of people I know. It seems like everywhere you look, there's some form of media consumption device grabbing your attention away these days.

I remember bringing a track and field starter pistol to school for Show and Tell in the 5th grade. Fast forward 4 years, and one of my friends was getting expelled for having a water gun in school. Your comment reminded me. It's been years since I though of that...

A human response. Thank you. Sincerely.

Seriously... And how have I not noticed it in 956 (970 at present count) instances?

What the fuck is wrong with you? Really?

There are at least two other people in here saying the same as me. Nice to see you come to the defense of a really fucking stupid and inappropriate joke that should just really not be made in the first place, but when you've seen people go through transplants and horrible fucking situations like this, making a joke

I fail to see the "humor". Again... 9 year old girl. Count your ass lucky you haven't been through this. The writer was conveying a story that should invoke passion and sympathy, not stupidity.

Not the point. Decent people don't need to see this.
