They are eagerly picked up by people doing EV conversions and DIY “Tesla wall” projects. OEM EV battery reuse is high.
I believe the batteries are coded to the computers, so it is a bit more involved. Also, the value of a Leaf is almost literally the value of the pack and motor stack. It’s cheaper to buy the Leaf than the Leaf pack, because the pack requires dismantling and shipping.
They did. Leafs built after March 2013 have the “wolf” batteries which are significantly better than the first “canary” batteries. In model year 2015, the “lizard” batteries were introduced which are even better than the wolf batteries.
So like...slightly better than the 2020, but slightly worse than the 2016?

It puts wear on the throwout bearing. People usually burn friction plates before they wear out throwout bearings, so...It kinda depends.
