Using your home (or even a room) as an AirBnB can run afoul of HOA rules and deed restrictions, and may not be covered by your homeowners insurance, so I could see how she would keep quiet about that and not inform her neighbors (until after this went down).

I imagine that this engine will be made available in the Mazda3, where a manual transmission would be more popular. You would think that engineering a manual that works with the motor now to use in the 6 would give them a jumpstart on offering the manual in the new 3.
