This move (again) to trucks and SUVs/CUVs by the American buying public is so short sighted. Really, you think $2 gas is going to last?
No it was a green-ish color. I suspect it may have been BRG at one time before it faded.
I stumbled across an abandoned U.S. spec Rover SD1 at a run-down warehouse strip on the southeast side of Houston. It was mostly complete and probably wouldn’t have taken too terribly much to get it back on the road. . . likely electronic issues aside.
Oops.
If I drive my Yugo backwards, it’s almost like driving an X1/9. Almost.
DOOR MAGNETS! Decent place to store them . . . you know, except for all the extra heat being generated in that engine bay now.
Can confirm. I have a history of owning some very fast and great handling cars, and even had a dedicated track AE86 liftback that I used to race extensively. But driving my Yugo at even 80% brings a smile to my face like nothing else does.
The weight “in the real world” depends on a variety of factors that perpetually vary, such as number and size of passengers, amount of fuel in the vehicle, dead hookers in the trunk, and whether you had the all-you-can-eat buffet at lunch.
Ugh, I hated having to explain this concept to non-car people when I used to work in the service department of a BMW dealership (aka “Center”). I wouldn’t think it would need to be explained on a car enthusiast blog though.
Just keep hitting “0" a bunch of times, that usually works.
Exactly this. No company is going to offer a warranty “as good as a new vehicle warranty” on a car this old and stay in business for any meaningful length of time.
No, it’s not. The motor in this wagon looks to be the 1.8 liter SOHC(?) carbureted motor, which isn’t “revvy” and certainly nowhere near as powerful as the 4AGE in an AE86. That 1.8 liter is lucky to be producing 85 hp in stock form.
Weirdo.
Agreed. No way this can be construed as a reasonable price. Between that and the 1981 Accord this morning, I can’t tell if y’all have lost your damn minds or are just yanking our (timing) chains.
Umm what? I don’t see how projection has anything to do with this. My opinion that Cam is “self absorbed” has nothing to do with success or failure in an objective sense. It’s more about how he views himself in the context of the greater world around him.
Having to acknowledge Gary Kubiak as a Super Bowl-winning coach is almost as bad as having to refer to Ben Affleck as an Academy Award winner for his role in writing the screenplay for Good Will Hunting.
Mostly and yes.
I acknowledge that Cam is a good QB, but I find his attitude and self-absorption insufferable. I think there were plenty of examples of this from this game, particularly his tantrum after that 3-24 play in the 4th quarter.
