Where CGI ruins it is where it's not needed. Flames for example. I can think of many instances were extra flames were added to an explosion so the actor could 'step over them' or whatever. That's when it's jarring.

@eimajtl: I'm not a big fan of AA rechargeable as I've not had good luck with them. I had a set of 16, where I was using 8 / charging 8 for photography flash. Something went wrong and 6 of the 8 got molten hot & popped. Then before that I used the energizer branded ones and within six months they lasted 15 - 20…

these things are cute, but $1.99? Maybe buying iPhone apps has stunted my view of things but first off the .99 part always annoys me. Make it a nice round number but just seems a bit steep.

@eimajtl: convenience? You still have to pop out the AAs and recharge them, and either you buy extras because you charge and play or not. The rechargeable NIMHs I purchased in the past (long while ago, things may have changed) didn't last as long.

@SuperSonik: True, you can buy lots of batteries and toss them into the landfill. My last set of rechargeable for the Wiimotes that I have are two years old, I was going through batteries about twice a week for a while which probably slowed down as I didn't play as much for a some of that.
